Winter 2027

    St Gervais, France

    This course has been created specifically to combine downhill ski instruction with an introduction to ski touring. Your guide is both an IFMGA Mountain Guide with many years ski touring experience, who is also a BASI Level 3 Alpine ski instructor, so you can benefit from both downhill and uphill technique training. To compliment the off-piste ski techniques, we will also learn all the avalanche safety protocols and basic ski touring skills so that you are ready to venture safely into the back country. This course is a good step to take before the Introduction to ski touring course if you are unsure of your downhill ski ability. 

    Afternoon kit collection and briefing on the 10th. Then 6 days ski instruction and intro touring skills with a flexible half day mid week of theory and then time to rest/visit the spa or practice their skiing on your own.

    Looking to take your downhill skiing to the next level? Wanting to get away from the crowds and learn how to make a journey on skis? Wanting to experience the world of hut-to-hut ski touring?

    If you are an active hill walker and you have skiied regularly in the past few years in ski resorts on and off piste and you are looking to take your skills to the next level by learning to ski tour so that you can escape the crowds, travel between mountain huts by ski and seek out fun and more remote off piste descents. 

    Based in Bourg Saint Maurice we have a plethora of terrain at our finger tips. The brilliant ski resort of Les Arcs to warm up our ski legs and access some excellent off -piste ski descents. Only a stones throw away we have the beautiful and wild Beaufortain region, to delve into hut assisted ski touring expeditions. This trip will consist of four days learning the basic skills whilst sleeping in the valley, followed by a two days mini adventure with an overnight in a mountain refuge to put it all into practice. 

    Compulsory kit collection and briefing on the afternoon of 31st 4pm.

    £650 per person.

    The classic and unforgettable Selvaggio Blu technical trek. From Pedra Longa to Cala Luna in five incredible days we trek as a small independent team along this iconic trail. 

    We will carry our own sleeping gear and bivouac near beaches, in caves and in idyllic woodland for four nights out in the wilderness.

    This route involves numerous abseils up to 40m in length and along improbable paths that weave through the cliffs adjacent to the stunning turquoise waters of the gulf of Orosei.

    We are in the initial stages of organising our Alpine Meet for Summer 2027. We plan for this to be based from Pontresina in the Engadin area of Switzerland, with the peaks of the Bernina range and also the rock climbing in Bregaglia nearby.

    We will be offering the following courses:

    Sunday Skills Check - for those who will head out independently with peers for the rest of the week. A compulsory day with Guides to refresh crevasse rescue, alpine rope skills and discuss routes and conditions.

    Alpine Taster Course - For those completely new to the snowy mountains and want to see what activities you can do! This will consist of 3 days looking at glacier skills, rock climbing and via ferrata, alongside trail walking or having a couple of rest days exploring the area

    Intro to Alpinism - 5 day course with 3 days looking at essential alpine skills on the glacier and rock, finishing with a 2 day trip to a overnight hut and an alpine peak.

    Alpine Improver - A 2 day course (monday/tuesday) to start the week with a Guide refreshing skills and gaining confidence to then climb independently with peers for the rest of the meet.

    Based from a campsite in Pontresina (probably Camping Morterasch)
